This type of wall-mounted weather station became popular in the mid-20th century, particularly during the 1960s and 1970s, when home weather monitoring instruments were fashionable decorative and functional pieces. These stations typically combined multiple brass instruments mounted on wooden plaques, reflecting the era's appreciation for both form and function in home décor.
